Habitat for Humanity CIO Gail Hyde was a featured guest at Tuesday's General Session. She spoke with Infor President Stephan Scholl about the organization's goals to eliminate poverty housing from the world by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Their conversation was preceded by a short video chronicling Infor employees' first Habitat home build near Denver in March.
Inforum 2012 attendees responded generously, with on-site donations exceeding $5,000.
Habitat for Humanity is a long-time customer of Infor. This year, Infor has begun a partnership with Habitat to help build affordable housing in the United States and abroad. Infor has committed up to $500,000 to fund house builds and offset operational costs for Habitat for Humanity. And Infor employees have opportunities to volunteer on builds (like the one in Denver) and donate funds that Infor will match.
