Infor’s Second Micro-Industry Summit Focuses on P/HVACPosted at - 01:13 PM on Fri, Mar 23, 2012

Infor is taking advice from its plumbing and heating ventilation & air conditioning customers. The result will be enhancements and new process solutions added to the Infor P/HVAC micro-industry roadmap.

On March 14-16, eight top P/HVAC customers met with the Infor Distribution team for an executive micro-industry summit in Buckhead, Georgia. The goal was to develop and drive Infor's product roadmap for this micro-industry. Attendees included CEOs, CFOs, and CIOs from companies of all sizes.

"We discussed where the industry was headed, what each company needed short and long term from Infor (both process and technology), and came up with a prioritized list to focus our future efforts," said Andy Berry, general manager, Infor Wholesale Distribution Business Unit.

In the end, Infor Distribution committed to a group of value-based enhancements and new process solutions as the basis for Infor's five-year micro-industry roadmap. The attendees agreed to take part in quarterly follow-up phone calls to review and update progress.

The P/HVAC gathering is the second micro-industry summit Infor has hosted recently, the first being the Electrical Distribution Summit.
