Enterprise Asset Management

Bentley University

To gain greater control of operating costs and reduce its carbon footprint while maintaining a first-class campus, the university implemented Infor10 EAM Asset Sustainability. As a result, Bentley saw significant reductions in electrical consumption and carbon emissions with 10% electrical cost savings, eliminated equipment failures via predictive maintenance, and easily captured asset data on a mobile device using barcoding.

BioMarin

After implementing Infor EAM, the biopharmaceutical developer provided enterprise-wide access to calibration, maintenance, and reliability data using software specifically configured to meet its needs. The company has streamlined data maintenance by minimizing paper records representing thousands of pages, and has boosted its level of GMP compliance. Using Infor EPAK, BioMarin performed user acceptance testing and documented end-user training.

City of Des Moines

After implementing Infor10 EAM Asset Sustainability, the capital city of Iowa saw annual savings of $200,000 in energy efficiency alone, plus reduced costs from productivity improvements of a factor of nearly four—from 20% to 75%, compared to an industry average of 30% to 50%. The organization also received the governor of Iowa’s Environmental Excellence Award in 2010 for energy efficiency improvements. In addition, the organization attributes fast user adoption to the solution’s ease of use and helpful tools providing critical information about asset performance.

City of Oak Ridge

With Infor10 EAM, the Tennessee city can now easily track key assets, including all 34 sewer pumps, and automate scheduling of preventative maintenance before the assets reach critical condition and require expensive repairs. The city also has gained a unified view of data in real time showing requested and completed repairs, maintenance costs, and asset locations, allowing automation of work order management throughout the city. Employees can easily access work orders and view a detailed status of all assets, including energy use of each asset, speeding up the work flow.

Cornèr Bank

Cornèr Bank Group of Switzerland offers its customers the entire range of traditional banking products, with more specific specialization in private banking, financing, and VISA and MasterCard credit cards. The company selected Infor10 EAM for its Asset and Facility Management project to allow the bank to streamline its structures, assets, buildings, premises, facilities, and equipment.

Energy Transfer

Using Infor10 EAM Asset Sustainability, the natural gas transportation company has ensured compliance with various federal regulations. The company leverages the increased flexibility of the system to easily configure it in many ways, including preventing an end user from booking labor for another end user, from booking labor without proper qualifications, and from closing a work order if hours aren’t booked to each activity. Energy Transfer also created custom fields and associated them with the preventive maintenance schedule to further enhance control.

Grimmway Farms

When a top producer of conventional and organic fruits and vegetables migrated from Infor MP2 to Infor10 EAM, the company streamlined and automated many processes throughout its departments. With the fully integrated system, the company can easily track and efficiently manage work order history, assets, costs, and its preventive maintenance program. The company also cut report creation time from 1 day to about 30 minutes.

Heinz Frozen Food Co.

A division of the global food giant saw 11% efficiency improvements, 5% to 10% maintenance cost reductions, and world-class levels of maintenance inventory management after implementing Infor10 EAM and lean principles.

Maritz

Using Infor10 EAM, the company tracks all aspects of operations, seeing 30% inventory cost savings and 90% reduced downtime.

Mohawk Fine Papers

Mohawk Paper is leveraging Infor10 EAM solution to better understand the energy consumption occurring on its equipment in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Mohawk's VP of IT says, "I haven't seen a product in many years that is as effective and user-friendly as [Infor10 EAM]."

PRIDE Industries

By integrating its on-site Infor10 ERP Enterprise (LN) and cloud-hosted Infor10 EAM solutions with the Infor10 ION Suite, PRIDE Industries ensured that its applications operated together seamlessly to execute its business processes. The company was able increase visibility into its operations, improve data accuracy, automate processes, and reduce its operational costs.

Saline Water Conversion Corporation

By leveraging Infor10 EAM to support more effective maintenance, integrate with other management systems, and analyze desalination performance history, Saudi Arabia’s Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) positions itself for a future of continuous process improvement. Those improvements will undoubtedly yield countless future benefits to people in water-scarce regions around the world.

Technip Ships

Technip is a world leader in engineering, technologies and project management for the oil and gas industry. Technip needed an asset management system capable of supporting the maintenance of its equipment assets both offshore and onshore and enabling improved vessel downtime, costs, inventory, and purchasing through the availability of accurate, consistent, meaningful, and transparent information. The project team selected Infor10 EAM. This decision was based on Infor10 EAM's sophistication, the ability to create a local database on each vessel, and the robustness of the solution's communications module.
