"Our old system couldn't keep up anymore, and we wanted a modern solution that would support what we needed now, and what we will need 10 years from now," said EBSCO Promotional Group (EPG) President Lori Kates. "We're going to make more-informed, faster business decisions with Infor cloud applications."
EPG has selected Infor CloudSuite to better support its operational goals with more modern architecture and scalable systems. Moving its critical business applications to the cloud allows EPG, an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of promotional products, to achieve faster time to market and become more agile with real-time data and dashboards accessible anywhere anytime.
"We knew Infor's CloudSuite applications were right for EPG because they offer the flexibility and analytical power we need for growth, especially as we look to potentially tap into new markets, without the need for extended amounts of maintenance," Kates said.
Infor CloudSuite, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), delivers industry-specific solution suites providing functional depth and flexibility. Key components include Infor SyteLine, a manufacturing industry-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that will help EPG improve productivity and respond faster to change, Infor Product Configuration Management (PCM), which streamlines sales and production of custom configured products, and Infor Factory Track's Warehouse Mobility which delivers a customized data collection solution allowing organizations to work more efficiently and simplify reporting. In addition, Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management (d/EPM) will deliver necessary insights into performance of key business areas, and Infor ION will provide integration for both Infor and third-party software applications.
"Manufacturers constantly need to meet escalating customer demands, and Infor has the solutions to deliver the deep custom analytics, product development, customer relationship management, planning and inventory tools, all in the cloud, to help companies quickly get up and running to meet these complex demands," said Mark Humphlett, Infor Industrial Manufacturing strategy director.
