Infor has designed a new application to provide mobile access for permit, license, and code enforcement inspectors in the public sector.
Infor Field Inspector for Community Development and Regulatory (CDR) gives access to the Infor Public Sector CDR modules from mobile devices, allowing field inspectors to review, update, and assess data from remote locations.
"For years licensing, permitting, and code enforcement has been relegated to on-premises activity, which for most agencies is counter-intuitive. The announcement of Infor Field Inspector CDR delivers a full-scale mobile application to provide access to users in the field," said Kevin Curry, senior vice president, Infor Public Sector. "This application equips users with access to critical information, regardless of location or platform, helping to ensure the most accurate data is recorded in real time."
Infor Field Inspector CDR is highly configurable and is designed to address the needs of many different users and organizations. The application relies on user profiles to match the content that is displayed to the specific user's job functions.
The initial version of Infor Field Inspector CDR is focused on Android devices. However, the core architecture of the application is platform-neutral.
