Infor is the sole technology sponsor of the EEF National Manufacturing Conference 2016 in London on Feb 24.
Infor also is sponsoring a specially-commissioned report for the conference, which will address UK manufacturing productivity. The report will set the scene for one of the conference's key panel debates: "The Productivity Challenge — What's the Solution?" Infor Senior Vice President Lisa Pope will be one of the expert panelists.
"British manufacturers need to look beyond the production line and outside of the four walls of their own operation to take a truly holistic view of their extended enterprise," Pope said. "We like to summarize this as the four Ps: people, processes, products, and partners. Manufacturers need to take this complete strategic view to really make a difference to their overall productivity. Increasingly, mission-critical, micro-vertical applications — both on-premise and in the cloud — are one of the most vital components for manufacturing success."
This is the second year Infor has played a key thought-leader role at the conference. Last year, Infor sponsored a ground-breaking report, "Manufacturing, Britain's Future," which looks at how technology is a major driver of Industry 4.0 — and how manufacturers, government and policy-makers need to react.
