Top executives of major companies using Infor Cloud solutions will gather for the first Infor Executive Cloud Council next week to help hone Infor's industry cloud offerings with their insights and experience.
Infor CEO Charles Phillips and President Stephan Scholl will host the Cloud Council on March 9-11 at Infor Global Headquarters in New York City.
The gathering will include executives of top organizations in Infor's focus verticals: aerospace and defense, manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, public sector, distribution, food and beverage, fashion, high tech and electronics, hospitality, equipment, and chemicals.
The aim in bringing together the Executive Cloud Council is to provide a forum where industry concerns, suggestions, and ideas can be shared and discussed. The goal is to strengthen relationships and incorporate customer feedback on cloud strategies, services, regulations, policies, procedures, best practices, and general customer experiences.
"The Executive Cloud Council is just one element we have put in place to support our customers' journey to the cloud," said Lisa Pope, Infor SVP of Cloud Strategy. "We are excited about the many perspectives and insights the council will provide to our business."
Pope will lead a group discussion about being a cloud company, with council members and Infor cloud experts sharing experiences and best practices. Industry analysts will offer their perspectives on the cloud technology evolution. Holger Mueller, noted industry analyst from Constellation Research, will lead an in-depth look at the economics of the cloud. Infor and AWS Solutions Architect Tom Stickle will detail the value and impact of the Infor + AWS strategic cloud partnership.
