Infor is named a 'Hot Vendor' in Ventana Research's 2014 Value Index for Workforce Management (WFM), and is highly rated for usability.
The index analyzes how well vendors' offerings meet buyers' requirements for software that enables and supports WFM. Infor scored an 87.5 percent in this year's report, placing the company among the highest-rated Hot Vendors. Hot Vendors are the most valuable category of vendors on the Value Index rating scale.
To determine this ranking, Ventana Research evaluated software in seven key categories: usability, manageability, reliability, capability, adaptability, vendor validation, and total cost of ownership.
"Infor WFM rates high in usability, and can automate the functions of workforce management and provide next-generation capabilities including business collaboration, mobile technology and workforce analytics," said Stephan Millard, Ventana Research vice president and research director.
Infor Workforce Management is a functionally rich solution for aligning long-term workforce planning with short-term forecasting and scheduling to help organizations optimize budgets, control payroll costs, maintain customer service levels, and comply with labor rules and regulations.
"This ranking from Ventana Research is proof of our deep understanding of what the market and our customers are really searching for," said Mitri Dahdaly, Infor director of human capital management. "The current economic environment is forcing organizations to more tightly control labor costs without jeopardizing critical business goals, and our software provides the tools needed to take a more strategic approach to workforce management aligning labor demand with business goals."
