Jeff Abbott, SVP of Infor Global Alliances and Channels, has been named one of CRN's 2014 Channel Chiefs, recognized for driving partner sales and growth. Abbott was also selected in 2013, making this his second consecutive honor.
"Partners are a critical part of our growth strategy, and we are committed to providing them with the necessary tools to facilitate their own growth and advancement," Abbott said. "Receiving this accolade is further testament to the investments that Infor is making in its partner program. We will continue to deliver new resources and launch innovative initiatives like our Micro-Vertical Partner Program."
More than 160 new channel partners joined the Infor Partner Network (IPN) in 2013, an increase of 48 percent over the previous year. The IPN consists of partners with hands-on industry and product experience, facilitating the expansion Infor's global footprint by providing face-to-face resources to help Infor customers around the world better address unique regional and local challenges.
"The CRN Channel Chief honorees lead, inspire, and engage peers and serve as valuable advocates to help ensure the health and longevity of the channel within the IT industry. We applaud their efforts and look forward to their continued success," said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company.
