TrustFord, the world's largest dedicated Ford dealership and wholly owned by Ford Motor Co., has deployed Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management (d/EPM) across its 65 sites in the United Kingdom. The application will help standardize reporting, deliver greater consistency and speed, and facilitate analytics capabilities for better decision-making.
TrustFord's sites previously delivered disparate reports, which led to slow group-level reporting and an inability to make truly like-for-like comparisons among dealership sites. As part of a continual improvement program, TrustFord wanted a comprehensive business intelligence system for financial performance management and to increase its consistency of reporting. After a review of the market, TrustFord chose Infor d/EPM for its ease of implementation and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
"We now have a single report and one set of data, to present to senior management," said Jonathan Pilbrow, financial controller, TrustFord. "In a business that is as site-led as ours, the level of consistency d/EPM will deliver is critical to being able to see what is working and what is not. Better visibility means better decisions, and because everyone is using the same system, the reports for the directors and regional managers are more consistent and generated faster."
TrustFord runs 19 reports daily across the business, including stock levels and a daily operational control (DOC) that summarizes the profit and loss of a given area. Infor d/EPM will help enable these reports to be delivered faster and with greater accuracy. Looking forward, TrustFord plans to deliver the reports via email and via an iOS dashboard to enable the use of iPads.
