Infor announced today that Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel, has implemented Infor FMS SunSystems to manage its financials. Infor FMS SunSystems was selected based on the solution’s deep functionality, ability to integrate with key business systems and single, integrated ledger capabilities, as well as Infor’s strong track record in the hospitality industry. The solution offers intuitive interfaces, powerful reporting capabilities and real-time visibility into business performance.
Implemented at more than 18,000 global sites today, Infor FMS SunSystems is a proven financial management solution. It is powered by a single, integrated ledger that combines the functionality of the nominal ledger, receivables and payables ledgers, project ledger, cashbook and other user-defined ledgers to create a real-time financial processing engine that allows users to see the immediate impact of any financial posting.
Additionally, Singapore Flyer selected Infor PM Query and Analysis – from Infor’s Performance Management portfolio – which provides integrated decision analysis to Infor FMS SunSystems and flexible reporting capabilities. For example, the integrated solution provides dynamic drilldown methods, which allows Singapore Flyer to easily analyze its business performance from multiple user perspectives, from the executive summary level to detailed base transactions.

Set to be one of Asia’s biggest visitor attractions with a breath-taking panorama of Singapore’s Marina Bay and the cityscape, the 165-meter-tall Singapore Flyer features 28 climate-controlled capsules the size of a bus, with each capsule able to accommodate up to 28 people. This spectacular monument is capable of holding up to 784 passengers and each rotation takes approximately 30 minutes.
