NEW YORK - Jul 14, 2014
Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This electronic health records (EHR) software certification follows the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Drummond Group's ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHR software meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using certified EHR systems may qualify to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology - a key component of the federal government's push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.
"Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience," says Rik Drummond, CEO, Drummond Group Inc. "We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry."
The Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite, which met the 2014 requirements for EHR Modular Ambulatory and EHR Modular Inpatient compliance, is a market-leading, enterprise-caliber integration platform that facilitates the movement of secure data through disparate systems within and outside the healthcare enterprise. The solution was designed to meet interoperability requirements and enable secure data flow within and between healthcare providers.
"Our healthcare customers can leverage this new certification, in addition to Infor's other HIT certifications, to meet meaningful use criteria that may qualify for U.S. government funding," said Barry P. Chaiken, M.D., chief medical information officer, Infor. "Infor continues to invest in the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite, providing the healthcare industry with a simple solution to solve complex challenges."
This EHR Module (Ambulatory and Inpatient) is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. Infor was certified on 05/08/2014 for Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite Version 6 and holds two certification numbers - 05082014?2400?8, 05082014?2399?8. Modules tested include 170.314(d)(1, 6, 8); 170.314(f)(2, 3, 4); and 170.314(g)(4). No Clinical Quality Measures tested. No additional software used.
