NEW YORK - Dec 14, 2016
Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced the availability of the next generation of Infor Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (HRCM), version 3.6.0. Part of the Infor Healthcare suite of solutions, Infor HRCM is designed to help streamline complex revenue management and billing operations and improve billing and claims accuracy through reduced manual intervention in the billing process.
Infor HRCM is used by multi-site hospitals, reference laboratories, physician billing organizations, and healthcare specialty providers and delivers real-time data on compliance, days receivable outstanding (DRO), rejections, and write-offs to patient revenue staff. The solution allows for customized patient statements and invoices, split billing to multiple payers, and automated collection processes. In addition, Infor HRCM interfaces easily with other systems, and supports a full set of Canadian Claims Submission and Remittance Electronic data interchanges as well as the US ANSI x12 electronic data interchange (835, 837, 270/271, 276/277).
Many new features were added to this iteration of Infor HRCM to address healthcare-specific needs during the billing and receivables process. This includes the integration of a cashiering screen with CenPOS to provide electronic processing of debit/credit card transactions, as well as an integration with a point of sale (POS) terminal. In addition, payment processing improvements on the cashiering and payment processing function help reduce data entry time, improve data quantity, and increase ease of use - including a new feature to link payment documents. Also, all applicable system tables have the ability to be imported from the spreadsheet, and denials data was added to the analytics core, which exports data from HRCM to form OLAP cubes.
"Healthcare organizations of all sizes are constantly dealing with trying to maintain a healthy cash flow while remaining agile enough to handle changing regulations, updates to payer rules and evolving procedures, and increased expectations," said Mike Poling, senior vice president, Infor Healthcare. "Infor Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management is a scalable and flexible solutions that can automate the most intricate aspects of the billing and receivables process, so organizations can strengthen cash flow and patient billing system processes, directly impacting bottom line results."
