Through Infor's new Flex program, Qualicaps will benefit from a low cost, rapid upgrade to the latest versions of Infor ERP LX and Infor EAM.
Infor Flex is available to clients with valid maintenance contracts offering access to the latest versions of Infor products, and the possibility of exchanging existing solutions for other similar products. Infor Flex delivers innovation together with value, through compelling low risk options. Infor Flex minimises license and/or transaction fees and offers significant benefits, such as a fast, reduced-fee implementation methodology and incentive pricing on additional users, modules or complementary solutions.
Through the Infor Flex program, Qualicaps will migrate to the latest versions of ERP LX and EAM. The ERP LX solution, which has been designed for process manufacturers with mixed-mode production and is based on the IBM System i platform, helps businesses adapt to changing market conditions, increasing the efficiency of companies' main activities from financial management, production, logistics, order management, to customer and supplier relations.
Infor EAM helps manufacturers such as Qualicaps save time and money through optimising planned and preventative maintenance resources, improving staff productivity, and enabling efficient inventory management of spare parts for its production machinery.
Qualicaps' strategic modernisation plan has led it to update its IT systems: "Although the ERP and EAM solutions were implemented ten years ago they have provided us with great stability. Over these years we haven't experienced any problems or seen any need to carry out any significant changes to the software. For these reasons we did not have an ongoing maintenance contract. Although this has saved us money we can now see the benefit of restoring maintenance. Infor Flex provides us with cost effective access to innovative technologies embedded within the latest versions of Infor ERP LX and Infor EAM to help us run our international operations. With these new versions, Qualicaps will have greater visibility and control over its assets and will be able to manage its global supply chain costs more easily.
