About the Speaker:
Robert (Bob) McKee has over 40 years’ experience of working in and with apparel, footwear, home textiles and fashion accessories companies. He has hands on experience sourcing apparel products around the globe and was one of the first US apparel executives to start sourcing in China in the early 80s. His knowledge and skills span retail, sourcing, manufacturing, and product development within the fashion industry.
Bob has held a string of senior roles including Senior Vice-president of Operations at O’Bryan Brothers, Inc. an intimate apparel and lingerie manufacturer, Director of Sourcing at Holloway Sportswear, Inc., Vice-president of Manufacturing, Sourcing and Quality Control at Bachrach Clothing, Inc. Vice-president of Manufacturing at The Company Store, and Vice-president of Sourcing / Vice-president of Materials Management at Warnaco.
Over the years, Bob has chosen and implemented 7 different enterprise management solutions while working in operations positions at different fashion companies. In 1998, Bob joined Intentia International as Director for the Intentia Fashion Solution. When Intentia merged with Lawson Software in 2006, Bob became Industry Strategy Director for Fashion and has been driving the focus and direction of the Lawson Fashion solution including the acquisition of Freeborders PLM Software division in 2008. Bob holds the same title at Infor with the merger of Lawson & Infor earlier this year.
