Driving Standards and Best Practices in the Healthcare Supply Chain

HTG Members Mayo Clinic, Geisinger, and Intermountain share best practices in the Healthcare supply chain

For many healthcare organizations, the lack of widely-adopted supply chain standards is causing inefficiencies and errors that are affecting both patient safety and the bottom line.

Supply chain data standards can make healthcare safer and more efficient, but only if industry partners are willing to adopt them.  A number of factors, including mounting economic pressures, pending federal and state legislation, and an industry push for proven standards, are converging to accelerate these cooperation efforts.

Five health systems are getting ahead of the curve:  Mayo Clinic, Geisinger Health System, Intermountain Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, andMercy.  These organizations formed Healthcare Transformation Group (HTG), an action-oriented collaboration to share best practices and drive needed positive change across the healthcare supply chain.

Hear three HTG members, Mayo Clinic, Geisinger Healthcare, and Intermountain Healthcare participate in this recorded webinar hosted by Infor’s Keith Lohkamp, Product Director for Infor Lawson Supply Chain solutions. You’ll learn how, through their close working relationships with GS1 Healthcare US, academic institutions, governmental agencies, vendors/suppliers, and research institutions, these organizations are advancing the adoption of standards across their own organizations.

Collectively they share:

  • The impact their work is having across the industry and how other organizations are benefiting
  • How their adoption of information technology, including Infor Lawson Supply Chain solutions, is benefiting their organizations
  • The value and improvements they are realizing as a result of implementing standards
