Bexar County

The Texas county that is home to one of the largest and fastest-growing cities in America—San Antonio—selected the Infor Lawson Financials, Infor Lawson Supply Chain Management, and Infor Lawson BI to meet its growing IT needs. Bexar County identified 3,500 functions and technical requirements, all of which the Infor products met. Buncombe County

Buncombe County is tucked into a 646-square-mile section of the Appalachian Mountains. With nearly 230,000 residents, the local government oversees 1,400 employees, including fire services, sheriffs, nurses and other county personnel. Like most organizations in today’s economy, Buncombe constantly faces the challenge to do more with less in order to maximize every taxpayer dollar. By moving to the cloud, the county saved enough money to fully pay for the entire upgrade to the newest Infor systems and to cut the budget in order to preserve jobs.

With Infor EAM, the Tennessee city can now easily track key assets, including all 34 sewer pumps, and automate scheduling of preventative maintenance before the assets reach critical condition and require expensive repairs. The city also has gained a unified view of data in real time showing requested and completed repairs, maintenance costs, and asset locations, allowing automation of work order management throughout the city. Employees can easily access work orders and view a detailed status of all assets, including energy use of each asset, speeding up the work flow.

North East Independent School District

The North East Independent School District spans approximately 140 square miles in the north central and northeast sectors of Bexar County, Texas. The district is home to 66,613 students across 65 campuses, 11 magnet programs, eight alternative schools and 8,471 employees.
