Overview
SunSystems Connect delivers a powerful electronic gateway that integrates SunSystems with your other business applications using industry standard XML and SOAP protocols. Using SunSystems Connect, you can connect to web applications or portals, front office systems or other external applications.

  • Allows other applications to seamlessly integrate directly with SunSystems functions and data. For example, if you have developed an Internet-based application, you could use SunSystems Connect to remotely check credit limits, to use SunSystems currency conversions or to access prices stored in SunSystems.
  • Uses the industry standard protocols XML (Extensible Markup Language) and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol).
  • Data held in SunSystems can be queried, created or updated directly from other applications.
  • Data transferred into SunSystems is fully validated through SunSystems business logic.

eBusiness Gateway

Overview
SunSystems eBusiness Gateway creates a powerful electronic gateway that integrates SunSystems with your other business applications. Using the SunSystems eBusiness Gateway, you can integrate with web applications or portals, front office systems or other external applications.

The Gateway uses a simple, XML-based messaging interface that does not require intimate knowledge of the internal operation of SunSystems and returns all data in XML format, making it highly suitable for display in a browser or interpretation by the web application.

Key features at a glance:

  • Allows other applications to seamlessly integrate directly with SunSystems functionality and data. For example, if you have developed an internet-based application, you could use SunSystems eBusiness Gateway to remotely check account balances, to update currency exchange rates or to access supplier/customer information
  • Uses the industry standard XML (Extensible Markup Language) protocol
  • Data held in SunSystems can be queried, created or updated directly from other applications
  • Data transferred into SunSystems is fully validated through SunSystems business logic

The eBusiness Gateway allows other applications to incorporate SunSystems data for important tasks such as looking up address information or checking inventory balances. Other applications can also transfer transactions such as sales and purchase orders into SunSystems.
