Dollard-des-Ormeaux launches Infor Iguana

April 3, 2017

Bibliothèque publique de Dollard-des-Ormeaux (DDO) Public Library in Quebec, Canada has recently launched Infor’s Iguana integrated website and discovery portal. The new Discovery Portal was presented as a gift to the citizens of DDO at a 25th anniversary celebration reception on January 17, 2017.

Iguana allows the library to promote the library’s collections – both physical and e-books, databases, programs & events, all in a single portal. Iguana provides patrons of the library with rich search and self-service functionality. Iguana also provides a responsive design that allows mobile access on tablets and smart phones without any additional or special configuration by the library.

Lise Brosseau, Division Head – Library and Culture, said: “We have been receiving a lot of positive feedback from the patrons of the library on the user interface and ease of use of Iguana. I feel that the new Iguana Discovery Portal definitely helps our library with its branding and unique identity on the web.”

Dave Alexander, Infor Manager of Sales – North America, said “We are very pleased to have another library in our Infor family move forward with Iguana. I think that DDO have done an amazing job of creating an appealing and useful interface for their patrons. I expect that staff and patrons alike will be very happy with Iguana.”
