Perfect score for Iguana – WCAG 2.0 Level AA
January 20, 2017
An accessibility foundation in the Netherlands has recently completed a study on the accessibility of the new Library Service website Pasend Reading at beta.passendlezen.nl. The website and discovery is built with the Infor Iguana product.
The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the mark drempelvrij.nl which is the Dutch leader for testing and certification of accessible websites. They use the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standard for testing (WCAG = Web Content Accessibility Guidelines www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20 ) which is also the basis for most state, provincial and federal accessibility standards such as the U.S. Section 508.
The investigation confirmed that the site fully meets all (web) guidelines and thus complies with 38 of the 38 criteria for success.
