There’s no magic quite like a Magic Quadrant

July 1, 2019

While there are many kinds of magic—like musical magic, literary magic, and the most magical place on Earth—we are going to take a closer look at software-related magic. The sort of magic Gartner evaluated in the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Midsize Enterprises*.

This is the first Magic Quadrant Gartner has issued evaluating cloud ERP suites for midsized, product-centric companies. It assessed market-leading, cloud-based ERP systems based on their operational ERP capabilities—including demand management, inventory management, and supply chain management, and shop floor—along with financial management, purchasing, human capital management, and industry-specific modules. It also took into consideration each vendor’s market presence and cloud service attributes.

So, how did Infor fare in this inaugural report? We are proud to report that Gartner placed Infor as a Visionary, based on Infor’s ability to execute and our completeness of vision.

According to Gartner, “Application leaders in midsize enterprises should use this Magic Quadrant to identify viable vendors and solutions for moving ERP business processes to the cloud.” If you are part of the decision-making process at a mid-sized manufacturing or distribution company, download a complimentary copy to help with your ERP purchasing decision—and maybe bring a little software magic to your own operations.
