Human Potential is the theme of Inforum this year, exploring how technology can help unleash the limitless possibilities of human achievement.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way humans think, act, feel, work, and play by allowing a person or group to do much more with the time they have, and to focus on critical thinking or creative concepts for value-producing activities. AI is helping us make quicker, more-accurate decisions, improving our efficiency and productivity, and beginning to "solve the unsolvable," tackling problems once thought impossible.
Infor will unveil some exciting new AI functionality at Inforum, coming Sept 24-27 in Washington, DC. Attendees can also experience Coleman AI in the Technology and Innovation area of The Hub. Interactive Coleman kiosks will offer product demos and examples of innovative skills developed with Coleman.
Some well-known thought leaders and special guests will help attendees further investigate this topic:
Van Jones – Special Guest Panel, General Session Day 1, Tuesday, Sept 25
Van Jones is a CNN political contributor and host of "The Van Jones Show." He will join Infor COO Pam Murphy in a Fireside Chat to discuss human potential, and how science and technology innovation is playing a large role in our evolution.
Shaquille O'Neal – General Session Day 2, Wednesday, Sept 26
The cultural icon and NBA superstar is also a powerful businessman. Ranked among the ''100 Most Creative People in Business'' by Fast Company magazine, O'Neal was an early investor in companies such as Google. He manages an increasingly robust personal brand, which has included television shows, a shoe line, and social media/tech products.
Jared Diamond – Inspiration Session, Wednesday, Sept 26
Pulitzer Prize-winning author, lecturer, and scientist Jared Diamond will lead a thought-provoking session on human evolution and our potential through his decades of experiences investigating why cultures prosper or decline, and what we can learn by taking a broad look across many kinds of societies.
