De Niro is one of the co-creators of the festival based in Tribeca, the Lower Manhattan neighborhood not far from Infor headquarters. The festival was founded to celebrate New York City as a filmmaking center and to promote to the long-term recovery of Lower Manhattan after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center.
"New York City is a global center of arts and creativity and has become a part of Infor's DNA since we burst onto the scene in 2012. Our internal design agency, Hook & Loop, has become one of the largest agencies in Manhattan in terms of creative personnel, and sponsoring this historic event at the Tribeca Film Festival was a way to show and share our love of New York's creative energy with the city," said Stephan Scholl, president of Infor.
