Who can package the most food? A friendly competition between Infor sales teams was a win for Feed My Starving Children.
"As the holiday season is just around the corner when many of us will overindulge in food, drink, and gift giving, it is humbling to see what a few hours and a few dollars can do for those in need," said Brady Johnson, Infor inside sales manager.
On Dec 8, Infor sales teams in the St. Paul, Minnesota, office packaged meals that will be shipped worldwide to people in critical need by the nonprofit organization Feed My Starving Children.
"Faith, hope, and love. These are things we absolutely need for a fruitful life. My heart breaks at the thought of people, especially children, who want for these most basic elements of life," said Stefan Wills, senior sales rep. "My heart rejoices that organizations like Feed My Starving Children exist to bring those elements to the world … for the purpose of nourishing body, mind, and soul of precious children that will now have a new lease on life. Who knows what kind of contributions these kids may bring to the world?"
"It was such an inspiring experience, and Team Infor definitely did not disappoint," said Rebecca Funk Parizek, sales manager. "In just two hours, we packed 64 boxes, containing 2,304 Manna Packs, which will provide 13,824 meals. That number is astounding. The comradery and passion that this group has is inspiring. It makes me proud to work for a company that cultivates a culture of giving."
"In proper Infor form," Johnson concluded, "I would sum up our experience as #InforProud."
