Nominations are now open for WIT's 2014 Women of the Year in Technology Awards. This is the second year Infor has been presenting sponsor of this prestigious recognition of Georgia women with significant impacts on technology.
Women in Technology (WIT) is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers in Georgia. The WOTY Awards celebrate women technology executives for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries of technology, and women who make a difference in their communities.
"Infor truly shares WIT's dedication to the advancement of women in technology," said Amy Conroy, Infor senior director of global demand generation operations, who is a long-time strategic volunteer and leader in the WIT organization as well as a three time honoree for the award. "Four members of the executive team at Infor are women: our COO, CFO, EVP of Global License Management & Maintenance, and SVP of Global Support.
"And with many of our employees and operations based in Alpharetta, Georgia, Infor has a vested interest in encouraging more top women in the state to flourish in technology fields," Conroy said. "As an active member of WIT, I am eager to get to work on this mission."
