'Infor signs up its fourth member of the Kempinski Hotel group and its first in Europe with the Adlon Kempinski Berlin,' reports Business-Cloud.com in an Aug. 5 article.

'From bed and breakfast owners to five star hotels and major resorts, the hospitality market has seen margins squeezed heavily over recent years. To help create efficiencies in their businesses and improve their marketing and occupation rates, many hospitality business owners have turned to technology to help them get control of their businesses.
'The latest to see Infor as their technology partner is the five star Adlon Kempinski Berlin who have opted for a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) offering known as EzRMS (Revenue Management Solution). EzRMS is part of Infor CloudSuite Hospitality which was only launched in April 2014. The Adlon is the fourth hotel in the Kempinski chain of luxury hotels to take on a cloud-based solution from Infor but it is the first major European hotel to do so.
'EzRMS (Revenue Management Solution) is designed to treat bookable hotel nights as a perishable commodity. Rather than rely on high room rates and the risk of under-occupancy, it allows hotels to adjust their rates based on availability and time of day. This is the same as a baker or greengrocer reducing the cost of goods they would have to throw away if not sold on the day. …
