Memorial Health System has selected Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for Healthcare to better manage its medical equipment inventory, improve reporting capabilities and optimize scheduling processes.
Memorial Health is a community-based, nonprofit, and one of the leading healthcare organizations in Illinois.
"After all of our evaluations, it was clear that Infor EAM was a robust system that could handle our business needs. The solution offered innovative, industry-specific capabilities, with the opportunity for custom configurations, and provided mobile capabilities not available to our organization before," said Dave King, Memorial Health System director of facilities operations.
Infor EAM Healthcare edition was developed specifically for the industry by a team of experienced hospital engineers and includes asset management, work management, and project management tools to help healthcare organizations operate more efficiently and effectively. As a web-architected system, Infor EAM Healthcare edition allows access to functions through a standard Internet browser, anywhere and anytime. In addition, Infor EAM Mobile extends the value of Infor EAM Healthcare Edition for field service workers as well as the managers, clerks and schedulers who are connected directly to the solution. It expedites service throughout a facility on mobile devices such as iPads and smartphones, to speed service. Personnel can move from room to room or site to site and still access and record maintenance information, conduct inspections and track inventory.
"Infor's specialized healthcare applications allow us to leverage existing skillsets and hardware, and provides a clear integration path into third-party systems, which reduces implementation time," said Darrell Oller, Memorial system director of applications. "We know that Infor will support us as we grow and change in the years to come, and the company's experience with moving business operations to the cloud will be important for us in the future."
