NEW YORK - May 05, 2015
Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that Infor M3, Infor SyteLine (now Infor CloudSuite Industrial), and Infor LN have been recognized as Leaders in Nucleus Research's latest Technology Value Matrix for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Vendors are evaluated on their depth of functionality and usability across a spectrum of capabilities including mobile application development and integration, user interface redesigns, vertical and micro-vertical functionality, embedded analytics and in-memory capabilities, and Internet of things (IoT) capabilities.
"Infor's ongoing investments in Infor M3 continue to drive its solid position in the Matrix, as does its support for national and international manufacturers and distributors. With deep functionality for food and beverage, fashion, chemicals, distribution and equipment dealers, service providers, and rental companies, [Infor] M3 provides multi-site, multi-company, and multi-currency support," said Rebecca Wetterman, vice president of research, Nucleus Research. "Infor has also made a number of announcements around its [Infor] Xi investments, enhanced big data analytical capabilities, and industry-specific Infor CloudSuites. Nucleus expects that these investment will impact future positioning of [Infor] M3 in the Matrix as more Infor customers can take advantage of those investments." 1
The report also notes that Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) maintains a Leader position in the Matrix as Infor's ERP solution for manufacturing and distribution. In addition, Infor LN maintains its Leader position in the Matrix "because of ongoing investment in its core verticals, including industrial machinery and equipment, general manufacturing and distribution, high tech, automotive, and aerospace and defense. LN also benefits from the usability investments that Infor has made to bring a new, more intuitive user interface to all its ERP products. The latest version of LN also included an upgraded user experience, with support for HTML 5 and Infor Ming.le for social collaboration."
Infor ERP solutions deliver functionality and usability to leading manufacturing and distribution organizations across the globe. Infor M3, Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) and Infor LN offer modern tools to streamline operations and provide company-wide visibility, and can easily adapt to new manufacturing methods, changing customer requirements, and evolving business strategies.
"We're innovating within our application suites to meet escalating customer demands and have invested in our ERPs so they can provide the advanced functionality needed to manage complex value chains and fast-paced product launches, as well as shorten cycle times and easily manage product configurations," said Mark Humphlett, industry and solution strategy director, Infor. "This Leader ranking of three of Infor's ERPs is a testament to the investments we've made in social business applications, Infor CloudSuite and Infor Xi, and our commitment to providing the industry with an end-to-end solution with functionality tailored to meet the complex demands of made to order (MTO) and engineer to order (ETO) operations."
