NEW YORK - Jul 13, 2015
Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that Stellar Services has joined the Infor Partner Network (IPN) as an Infor Alliance partner. Stellar Services, an Enterprise Information Management Consulting company, headquartered in New York City, will provide consulting services, including implementation, integration and support services, to Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) customers in the public sector. Public agencies experience a unique set of challenges in that operations, such as public transportation networks, cannot be interrupted due to IT changes. Stellar Services will help organizations experience faster, more efficient implementations and upgrades, thereby lessening downtime for citizen services and enabling a more rapid return on investment for public agencies utilizing Infor applications.
"The primary objective for all government-managed organizations is to meet the needs of citizens, however, the needs of the organization itself vary drastically depending on its role," said Lynn Sauder, vice president, Global Alliances, Infor. "Infor continues to partner with businesses like Stellar Services because we recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective, as each micro-vertical, whether utilities or public safety, has a different set of technology requirements that can only be addressed with a combination of industry-specific applications and expertise."
In addition to Infor EAM, Stellar Services will work with the Infor Public Sector Suite (Hansen) and Infor ION to help public agencies not only improve asset management, but also deliver superior services to citizens. By combining the power of these applications, organizations can successfully create visibility across multiple departments to help break down information silos and improve agility and accountability by relying on a unified, integrated technology environment.
"The majority of our client base is comprised of state and local agencies, so our consultants have extensive experience meeting the expectations and requirements of this industry," said Liang Chen, CEO, Stellar Services. "Collaboration with Infor will allow us to service additional micro-verticals, such as transportation, by delivering technology that is specifically developed for public agencies' unique, day-to-day challenges."
The IPN is a global network designed to provide the tools and resources necessary to help partners grow a profitable and sustainable business around Infor products. To learn more about becoming an Infor partner, visit www.infor.com/partners.
