NEW YORK - Dec 02, 2015
Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, announced that ARCA, a world leader in the field of payment systems and cash handling automation technology, has selected Infor CloudSuite™ Industrial Enterprise Solution to support its business growth.
Founded in 1998, with headquarters in Mebane, North Carolina and an established presence in more than 50 countries, ARCA offers its customers technological solutions and innovative services to simplify and secure money transactions. The company develops and deploys systems for automating cash operations to bank branches, retail stores and self-service kiosks.
Following its strong expansion, enriched by the acquisition of CTS group, an Italian provider of technologies to automate payments, ARCA has chosen Infor to implement a unified information system to help redefine business processes and integrate its production and logistics processes.
ARCA has chosen Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise, a suite which provides access to several integrated applications within the cloud environment. The platform will provide the tools to manage all operational activities, from finance and planning, to management of production, quality control and analysis, in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. The offer combines Infor Ming.le™, the platform that promotes social collaboration and Infor ION®, purpose-built middleware to integrate Infor and third parties applications.
The suite, which will help implement a data harmonization strategy and get operational metrics in real time, will be used by more than 210 users in the United States and Italy. Users will also be able to take advantage of out-of-the-box consolidated reporting, customer service, spare parts support and service contracts planning. In addition, Infor Ming.le will broaden the user pool, enabling 200 more profiles to access information thanks to the collaboration platform.
"Infor technology is a perfect match for our requirements and will allow us to optimize business processes, collaborating within our different locations, as well as providing a greater visibility along the whole supply chain. We very much appreciate the proactive approach of Infor, who understood our business and supported us in providing what we need as a global company," said Mort O'Sullivan, founder and CEO of ARCA.
"We are extremely pleased to help a company such as ARCA with an implementation completely in the cloud. Our industry-specific technology supported by AWS cloud environment allows us to deliver vertical capabilities for a measurable competitive advantage," said Enza Fumarola, VP Sales Southern Europe, Infor.
Since 1998, ARCA has been committed to helping people control and streamline cash operations in bank branches, retail stores and self-service kiosks. By focusing on technology and services, ARCA delivers thoughtful solutions to make transactions simpler, more efficient and more secure. Today, ARCA provides the largest selection of cash handling devices of any manufacturer in the world.
