CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Chooses Infor Fashion To Optimize Its Value Chain

Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, announced that CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, the famous creator of French luxury shoes with red soles, has selected Infor Fashion, alongside a new solution for managing shops and collections. The project aims to help equip the company with advanced business tools to enable it to sustain its strong growth around the world, and provide a new modernized and unified management system.

Jean-François Roncatti, SVP Logistics & Group CIO at CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, said: "With the opening of more than 100 new stores in 20 countries in the last 7 years, the company has changed radically; this evolutionary project and harmonization of our management processes demonstrates the evolution and transformation of the group. Moreover, the upheaval taking place today in the world of distribution, with the development of omni-channel, is an additional constraint that we have had to integrate in order to satisfy our customers."

Following a tender that lasted nearly a year and in competition with three major market players, Infor was chosen for several reasons: including its international dimension but also its strong presence in the luxury fashion sector.

Jean-François Roncatti continues: "We had high expectations of our partners in terms of R&D investment in order to closely match to our expectations. The omni-channel management capabilities and performance of merchandising tools within Infor Fashion; the capabilities of its financial management solution; the integrated management control, as well as the quality of the project and support teams that are committed to us - whilst providing a standard solution that meets our needs, finally convinced us."

In addition, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN was impressed by the automated allocations and replenishment modules within the Infor solution. He concluded: "With this module, we hope to have a better visibility over all of our inventories, optimize the management (for all the channels) of all incoming requests and thus guarantee clients' worldwide delivery deadlines, particularly when there's unexpected spikes in demand for specific items."

While a first stage deployment of the solution is now finished in the United States, the roll out schedule is expected to take until 2017 with the deployment of the core business and trade processes dedicated to supply chain and finance in September 2016, in the French holding company. 'Retail' module will be gradually implemented in all 20 countries where the Group is present, for around 400 users.
