Infor CloudSuite™ Facilities Management Helps CWF to Act as a Complete Facility Service Provider

United States – December 01, 2015, 09:00 AM

Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Croon, Wolter & Dros Facilities (CWF) has chosen Infor CloudSuite™ Facilities Management for an effective management of enterprise assets.

CWF is a young company with 40 employees. Its origins date back to 2014 when the companies Croon Elektrotechniek and Ingenieursbureau Wolter & Dros joined their forces in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering in CWF. The company focuses on managing multidisciplinary maintenance contracts and ensures the optimal management of buildings, installations and facilities services. The company operates in various markets including education, healthcare, business services and government. In addition to managing the technical installations CWF wants to expand its services business. The goal is to make it to the top 5 of facility service providers in the upcoming years.

With the expansion of the services, including key management and growth plans, the need for a new Enterprise Asset Management solution arose. A total of eight selected packages were reduced to two solutions, and after a reference visit Infor came out on top. A Proof of Concept was executed in three out of the sixty locations with an emphasis on the reporting of malfunctions and the associated statements with cost and time.

Pieter Kruik, manager operations, CWF B.V., praises the flexibility, ease of use and the integration capabilities of Infor CloudSuite Facilities Management. “We can fully integrate the solution with other enterprise applications. Furthermore, we can profit from increased efficiency for example in terms or reporting and analysis. This way in no time we can have a clear malfunctioning report. That was previously a cumbersome and time-consuming process. Also the use of EAM Mobile, an EAM application for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, increases efficiency and productivity as mechanics for instance are always connected directly to the solution and can access, capture, and manage information directly from their job site.” Pre-configuration and industry-specific capabilities help minimize downtime and keep assets running at peak performance. Besides the capabilities of the solution the vision, development power of Infor, and its12 year experience with EAM solutions in the cloud also played a role.

Infor CloudSuite Facilities Management provides a reliable security model that is uncomplicated and able to reduce installation time, as well as an average uptime of 99.95 percent. Systems users can access key features and functions from the web-based Infor EAM for Facilities solution through a browser working with an easy-to-use graphical user interface. The suite also utilizes Infor ION®, a purpose-built middleware and Infor Ming.le, the social collaboration engine, which supports internal and external communications between key stakeholders.

With Infor CloudSuite Facilities Management CWF does not require to purchase onsite servers or hardware, which eliminates the need for additional IT support. Because cloud delivery via AWS is managed through a monthly subscription, Infor CloudSuite Facilities Management reduces upfront investment, serving as an operating instead of a capital expense. With the new EAM solution the service provider is ready for the future, and will roll out the solution in all sixty locations over the next months.
