Hamilton Swaps Old & Customized ERP for Modern & Personalized

Electrical accessories and supplies manufacturer R. Hamilton & Co. has dumped its 20-year-old legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and implemented Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) without an interruption in business.

Set to support two locations in the United Kingdom, Infor CloudSuite Industrial will help improve decision-making and reduce business continuity risks.

With its old, heavily customized system, Hamilton maintenance and support was managed in-house and was reliant on a limited number of personnel, exposing the company to risk. This bottleneck also restricted the flow of information around the business and limited opportunities to implement fast changes to the business.

After a thorough review of the market, Hamilton chose Infor CloudSuite Industrial for its better functionality and the ease with which screens, data and reports could be personalized.

Before going live, Hamilton performed essential personalization to ensure that the business could take customer orders, produce job documentation for shop floor, process the shipping of orders, purchase stock, invoice customers and pay vendors.
