How many employees do you have now?
The Barcelona office is one of four Infor offices in Iberia, along with Madrid, Lisbon, and Porto for a total of 260 employees. We´ve kept on growing the size of the team over the past few years, while being proud that more than 25 employees have 20+ years of seniority. That longevity is a testament.

Business Development. If you´re looking for a role to kick-start a sales career in tech, we want to meet you. Through a close partnership with Marketing, the Business Development Team is the pipeline generation engine of the Sales organization. Our culture relies on driving best-in-class engagement with our prospects by being different and relevant. We´re looking for English, German, Dutch, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Scandinavian, and French native speakers to join us.
Inside Sales. We are building the best Sales organization in the industry focused on fostering customer advocacy and loyalty through customer-centric selling. Our culture is built around innovation, collaboration, and career growth. We are experiencing tremendous revenue growth and are looking for German, French, and English speakers.
Solution Consulting Foundation Team. Our mission is to connect an organization's pain points and business processes to Infor solutions that can solve them. Foundation Team members complete an 18-month immersive program to become field-facing solution consultants across our portfolio of industries and solutions once they graduate. We are currently hiring solution consultants for our enterprise resource planning (ERP) and product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions.
The Deal Desk Team is a dynamic organization, chartered with providing mission-critical support to field sales in all aspects of the sales process including, but not limited to: contract research, creation of price quotes, business approvals, deal structuring, contract creation requests, and training. We are seeking highly motivated, results-oriented professionals to join the Infor EMEA Deal Desk Team in the Barcelona office.
Support. We work to ensure Infor's software is always an asset to our customers by giving them personalized service from experts who understand their solution, their industry, and their business.
Subscription Services. The subscription services manager (SSM) is a key contributor on our team, who consistently delivers market-leading renewal rates and retention. The SSM manages a diverse territory of installed-base customers, with a focus on maintaining and growing renewal revenue and establishing partner/client relationships to retain customers and identify opportunities for upsell/cross-sell.

What's changing in the profession?
The sales skillset has evolved dramatically. While the art of building relationships is still at the core, sales professionals must now be agile in analytics and social media to establish themselves as trusted advisors. Supporting the evolution of these skillsets and being innovative is what allows Infor to stay ahead of the game.
What successes from this past year are you most proud of?
Talent development is a key pillar for growth. We want to promote from within and make our people the most valuable assets of our growth. Looking at FY18, we saw our entry-level business development representatives (BDRs) being promoted to 8 different areas of the business, including Inside Sales for Licenses and Services, Field Sales, Customer Success, BDR Management, Education, Solution Consulting, and Recruitment.
We launched a new training program to develop the next generation of field solution consultants. We are pleased to have the first group of alumni from our Solution Consulting Foundation Team recently complete the 18-month development program and receive promotions to the Solution Consulting field organization.
What's next for your office?
Barcelona is hyper-connected to the rest of Europe, and we want our employees to feel this way. We plan to strengthen how we work as virtual teams with our greater EMEA Leadership Team, give back even more to the community, and celebrate our successes.
How do you keep your employees keen and motivated?
Fostering a collaborative environment between the various internal teams, involving employees in local events and activities, and most of all, celebrating success! Celebrating success is a way of thinking. It materializes our goals and keeps our team on the move, leaning towards excellence.
