Infor Continues to Help Healthcare Organizations Control Costs and Deliver High-Levels of Care
Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced the availability of an updated version of Infor Inventory Intelligence for Healthcare, an application that delivers consumable, actionable insights into inventory levels. Infor Inventory Intelligence for Healthcare delivers scientific-based recommendations to maintain optimized stock levels so healthcare organizations can free up resources for other critical hospital needs, balance inventory levels across the healthcare supply chain, and keep service levels high while minimizing total supply chain costs.
Developed by the Infor Dynamic Science Labs® team, an internal group of scientists, mathematicians, economists, and engineers who are driving the next generation of enterprise software, this tool leverages science-based recommendations to maintain optimized stock levels based on the different needs of a hospital's floor, care units, and patients. With Infor, users can go beyond collecting, reporting, and distributing information about inventory levels and needs to anticipating problems and responding with solutions.
The newest release of Infor Inventory Intelligence for Healthcare, version 188.8.131.52, provides functionality and features that streamline and automate the transfer of data to provide a positive end user experience. These features include an updated customer-centric user interface designed by Hook & Loop, Infor's internal creative agency focused on optimizing experiences and maximizing customer success. Healthcare organizations are now able to review, accept, modify and skip recommended changes, view data on all items, and view supporting data including time series charts of historical inventory and usage.
In addition, users can access Infor Inventory Intelligence for Healthcare via Infor Ming.le®, a centralized space for collaboration, business process improvement, and contextual analytics. Infor Ming.le is fully embedded with organizational systems like enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financials. Employees, regardless of their roles, can communicate, collaborate, and share information, such as documents, plans, photos, and videos, from a centralized location, with all activity captured and easily searchable.
"Patient care is always at the center of hospital, care team, and supply chain goals," said Mark Weber, senior vice president, Infor Healthcare. "If an organization doesn't have the supplies they need, they are not only making it hard on clinicians and supply chain professionals to do their jobs, but they are putting patient care at risk. Infor's solutions created specifically for the healthcare industry can help organizations reduce inventory costs, anticipate stock outs, and ultimately help avoid unnecessary patient risks."
