Infor VP Piotrowski Named AIAG Vice Chair
Infor VP Kevin Piotrowski's new appointment as vice chair of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) board of directors is just the latest example of Infor's commitment to the success of the automotive industry — and the other verticals it serves.
"I have been part of the automotive industry most of my working life, and I truly care about its success, evolution, and future," Piotrowski said. "So I'm excited to bring that passion to the AIAG board, along with all the industry expertise of Infor backing me."
Piotrowski is vice president of solution consulting for Infor's North American, Latin American, and Asia-Pacific region. He focuses on maximizing growth in Infor's key manufacturing verticals, including automotive, advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense, equipment/rental, distribution, food and beverage, and fashion. He is responsible for demonstrating industry-specific Infor CloudSuite solutions, and synchronizing efforts with sales, implementation consultants, and product management teams. Piotrowski got his start in automotive in 1984 with General Motors, then also Delphi Automotive Systems and Supply Solutions. He joined Infor in 2004, and the AIAG board in 2008. He will serve with the new AIAG chairman, Michael Sinnaeve of Magna International.
Industry specialization — like automotive — is in Infor's DNA. Progress for the industry is progress for Infor. And likewise, innovations from Infor are benefits for industry customers. Infor and its people are dedicated to understanding their customers' industries better than anyone else, and delivering complete-to-the-last-mile software solutions with the capabilities they need built in, not bolted on.
These primary industries are Infor's focus: automotive, aerospace & defense, chemicals, distribution, equipment, fashion, financial services, food & beverage, healthcare, high tech & electronics, hospitality, industrial machinery & equipment, industrial manufacturing, public sector, and retail. And Infor goes even deeper into many of the key sub-verticals.
