Most Valuable Player spotlight: Audrey Kosier focuses on results
Audrey Kosier is a senior corporate communications specialist in the Alpharetta, Georgia, office. She manages Infor's corporate social media channels, and creates engaging campaigns to popularize the Infor brand.
What do you do on the Corporate Communications Team?
I am responsible for the day-to-day management of Infor's corporate social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. As people consume more news and information using social platforms, I have been instrumental in Infor's pivot to a multi-channel social strategy, delivering channel-specific content aimed at communicating Infor's brand and product values, culture, and momentum in line with audience expectations for each digital platform.
What are you and your team up to?
We continually work on creating engaging campaigns to grow our followership on social media. The Social Media Team has helped add more than 100,000 to our organic social following (65% growth) since the start of FY17 in May 2016. During calendar 2017, Infor added more new followers on LinkedIn than Epicor has amassed in total over the past 8 years.
Creativity is key to social media. For example, we fashioned a holiday wishes video crowd-sourced from our employees. This video amassed more than 14,000 views on Infor's corporate Facebook and YouTube pages alone, with a further 300+ shares via Infor Amplify, our employee social sharing platform. A departure from the traditional design holiday greeting, this campaign highlighted Infor's diversity and global reach.
What's the best thing about the Corporate Communications Team?
I work on a small, close-knit team. It is fun and rewarding, but like most jobs, it has its challenges. Our team covers everything from employee communications and engagement to public relations, sponsorships, and social media. We're tasked with enhancing and protecting the Infor brand.
It's great working with my teammates. We have each other's backs, and all have different strengths: one is more strategic, another more technical, and I am more creative. We have the right mix of people and skills together, which is bringing about amazing results.
How do you exhibit a sense of community in your work?
Inforum, our flagship customer conference, is arguably the single greatest shared employee experience each year, but only a small portion of our employees get to attend. To extend the event to those who can't attend live, my team and I develop campaigns to Facebook Live stream the General Sessions and customer interviews on the Hub floor, as well as use the Instagram Stories feature to provide behind-the-scenes looks at the work Inforians do to put on the show.
What are you doing outside of work?
I enjoy reading fantasy science fiction novels, and spending time with my family. I am also a tennis super fan, and spend most of my vacation time traveling to professional tennis tournaments. I plan on going to the BB&T Open in Atlanta and the Cincinnati Masters tournaments this summer.
