Orchestra-Premaman Group Selects Infor ERP Fashion for a Uniform Project
Infor, Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that the Orchestra-Premaman group, a children's fashion designer for more than 15 years, has chosen Infor M3, a comprehensive enterprise software application designed for the fashion industry. This choice comes because the group wanted to implement a centralized management system for all group activities including inventory management, procurement, business management, accounting and financial management.
Eric Quivy, DSI Orchestra, said, "We went from 150 to €370m turnover in just four years and it became urgent for the group to develop a single information system capable of supporting the all of our activities and integrate business characteristics and management related to each of them, while benefiting from a centralized database. After the acquisition of the Swiss childcare retail chain Babycare, which has been in operation for 10 years and was the first to open a 3000 m2 baby megastore in 2012, this merger with Premaman accelerated our decision."
Managing two different information systems which were partly obsolete, Orchestra decided to align its management tools into a single system, the choice of which quickly and naturally focused on Infor Fashion. With this module, we will now be able to guarantee the right timing in terms of booking and availability of inventory items for our customers, and this until the date of birth of their child."
The deployment of the solution, which will involve 150 users located on two sites, one in France and one in Belgium, and a dozen additional users located in different European subsidiaries, is scheduled for the second half of 2014. During this first phase, the procurement and accounting & finance capabilities will be deployed, while the complete deployment including the integration of all central inventories is expected to happen in 2015.
