United States – March 22, 2016, 12:00 PM

Savoy magazine has named Infor CEO Charles Phillips one of the 2016 "Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America."

Savoy calls its Top 100 "the definitive listing of African-American executives, influencers and achievers proactively impacting corporate America."

Phillips, as profiled last month in Fortune magazine, has made a point to help increase diversity both in the ranks at Infor and in the broader technology industry. In late 2014, he created the Infor Education Alliances Program, which provides Infor software, expertise, and internship / employment opportunities for students at City University of New York, Hampton University, Pace University, CityTech, Brandeis University, and the New York Urban League. Phillips also serves on the Board of CodeNow, a nonprofit with a mission to bring software coding to inner-city youth.

"We are continually inspired by the success of the executives recognized and we salute the corporations that support and value their diverse contributions," said L.P. Green II, publisher of Savoy, a leading African-American lifestyle publication.
