Poland's Leading Table Porcelain Company Invests in Infor M3
Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Lubiana has successfully deployed Infor M3. Lubiana is one of the largest and best known table porcelain companies, producing for households and hotels for the last 40 years, with exports accounting for more than 80% of production.
The company is constantly developing and investing in the latest technology. For several years, Lubiana has been using Infor M3 and has many happy users who have benefitted from regular upgrades. The most recent upgrade to Infor M3 was completed at the end of 2016 in six months by the iPCC Sp. o.o. - Infor's Polish implementation partner for Infor M3.
The ERP upgrade included the implementation of Infor Warehouse Mobility - a solution specifically designed for mobile workers in warehouses using scanners. Lubiana automated the processes of goods-in admissions, handling movements inside the warehouse, releases, reporting, production orders and transmitting information on inventory.
In addition, iPCC conducted a major project to implement improvements in advanced production planning. iPCC updated Lubiana's business processes, workflows, reporting and business intelligence using the Infor Xi technology platform. Lubiana also implemented Infor M3 Supply Chain Orders, a powerful tool that links production orders generated from sales orders and Material Requirements Planning, enabling better management of production to customer. Supply Chain Orders allows for easy, multi-level identification of all orders related to an end order. They automated the multi-level re-planning of the entire chain when a customer changes its decision with regard to order quantities or delivery dates.
"We share a mutual common value with Infor: we are both totally dedicated to investing in the latest technology innovations to stay ahead of the market. One of the most significant advantages we see with upgrading to the latest version of Infor M3 is adopting a next generation technology platform in Infor Xi," said Andrzej Boguslawski, IT Manager at Lubiana. "This platform literally provides software that bends but does not break - providing never seen before levels of integration, in addition to a new level of user experiences that I am sure will inspire our users to new levels of productivity."
In 2016 Infor opened a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Wroclaw, Poland to support the acceleration of its transition to the cloud and enhance customer service. The CoE, which is expected to employ 500 people by the end of 2018, houses employees across multiple departments including Development, Consulting Services, Cloud Operations, and Support, among others.
