Procure-to-Pay Without Silos
Jackson Health System has chosen Infor Healthcare to help "break down the silos of sourcing, inventory, payment, distribution, and analysis."
Jackson Health System (JHS) is a public healthcare integrated delivery network based in Miami, with six hospitals and 2,106 licensed beds. It needed to improve the sourcing of products and services and better control how contracts are created, managed, and monitored.
Using key pieces of the Infor Supply Chain Management for Healthcare Suite, Infor Lawson Strategic Sourcing, Infor Lawson Contract Management, and Infor Lawson Supplier Order Management, JHS will be able to offer clear tracking and analysis for auditing, and place proper controls on spending limits.
"Before we rolled out our Infor solutions, everything was manual at Jackson Health System. This was our first step toward automating processes, developing a centralized file for vendors, and using electronic bids and RFPs," said Rosa Costanzo, Jackson Health System chief procurement officer. "The introduction of these applications has resulted in a more efficient and accurate contracting and sourcing environment for both our internal customers and the vendor community."
"Healthcare organizations need to transform the role of procurement from purely managing orders to handling more strategic responsibilities, and break down the silos of sourcing, inventory, payment, distribution, and analysis," said Mike Poling, Infor Healthcare SVP. "With Infor, organizations can standardize and automate processes, monitor and control spending, manage supplier relationships, and ensure every step within the supply chain flows unhindered into the next - delivering a quicker, more responsive procure-to-pay process."
