Susan Rice to Join Pam Murphy for Inforum Special Session
Four inspiring change-makers — including former National Security Advisor Susan Rice — will share stories about critical moments of transition during a special general session at Inforum 2017 presented by the Women's Infor Network (WIN).
Infor Chief Operating Officer Pam Murphy will host the session — "The Change Makers: Closing technology, societal, and political gaps" — at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12.
Back by popular demand, the WIN special session brings together female leaders from all walks of life. It has quickly become an Inforum fan favorite for women and men alike. In 2016, the WIN session hosted a packed house of 800+ attendees. WIN expects standing room only for the 2017 session, too.
Joining Murphy will be:
- Susan Rice, former US National Security Advisor and Ambassador to the United Nations
- Farah Pandith, former Special Representative to Muslim Communities for the US Department of State
- Tan Le, inventor and pioneer in brain augmentation technology to optimize human performance
- Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code
These leaders will share their experiences and perspectives on change.
Susan Rice and Farah Pandith will join Murphy for a discussion on recent executive orders relating to immigration and border security, and their effects on the global community.
Tan Le is pursuing the dream of widespread brain function screening to catch early signs of autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and other conditions. She will talk about her innovations and her ability to power through when faced with difficult hurdles.
Reshma Saujani will address the current tech landscape, the lack of gender diversity, and innovative ways individuals can take action to drive change to this situation.
What is WIN? The Women's Infor Network is a program established by Murphy with the goals to make sure women succeed, stay in the tech industry, get the promotions they deserve, and can grow and benefit from
being part of a community of other like-minded women.
