Introducing Process Indicator

Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM) application screens now include the new process indicator UX. The application’s cards and data grids screens have been enhanced with the new process indicator. The new process indicator makes it easy for users to track where an item is in the approval process. For example, a given item’s approval levels and approvers, its status, where it has been, where it needs to go for completion, and elapsed time per review level. Users can click a link to view more information. The process indicator is available for both mobile and web user interfaces.

Infor Process Automation (IPA) has been enhanced to generate milestones for display in the new process indicator UX. A milestone is any activity node in an Infor Process Automation business process that is designated for display in the process indicator UX. Infor Financials & Supply Management application business processes delivered by Infor have been enhanced with a process indicator to display a graphical representation of the milestones in the work item. Customers can configure milestones within Infor Process Automation to display their custom business processes’ milestones in the process indicator UX.

In this post’s video, Don Peterson, Principal Development Business Analyst, describes and demonstrates using Infor Process Automation’s Infor Process Designer (IPD) tool and its new milestones feature to update a business process by designating activity nodes as milestones for display in the process indicator UX. Don then demonstrates what the new process indictor UX looks like and how it functions in Infor Financials & Supply Management application screens.
