To get to the HIMSS13 Interoperability Showcase, you have to qualify at Connectathon, the healthcare IT industry's only large-scale interoperability testing event. It's extreme sports for healthcare integration. Infor has earned its place with the Infor Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor.
Infor plans to demonstrate Cloverleaf's IHE connectivity and ability to enable interoperability among electronic health records (EHRs) and connected systems at the Interoperability Showcase, part of the HIMSS13 Conference and Exhibition, set for March 3-7 in New Orleans. The Interoperability Showcase brings together leading organizations, like Infor, to showcase their ability to collaborate and meet reform objectives leveraging standardized interoperability.
To participate in the Interoperability Showcase, the Infor Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor recently had to pass critical tests at the 2013 Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) North America Connectathon event in Chicago. There, Infor demonstrated that the Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor was compliant with 13 applicable IHE actor/profile combinations, supporting the secure, standards-based transfer of clinical data across multiple IT systems and ultimately helping healthcare organizations share patient information within their organizations and between external EHRs and exchanges. IHE is a global initiative to improve the interoperability of healthcare IT systems—from application to application, system to system, and setting to setting—within and across multiple healthcare enterprises.
"Infor has a long legacy of delivering cost-effective, innovative integration solutions to the healthcare industry and continues to devote time and effort to developing new features that will directly impact our customers in support of meaningful use and health information exchange," said Steve Fanning, vice president, Healthcare Industry Strategy, Infor.
