"Before we took on Infor, we really didn't have any tracking of labor or material costs. We didn't have any energy consumptive maintenance tracking," says Bill Miller, ASE-EAM systems administrator at the Des Moines Waste Water Reclamation Facility.
"So we decided to study maintenance best practices," says Royce W. Hammitt, O&M manager. "Once we realized what we could be doing, we decided to use the Infor product."
In a new customer video, officials at the largest treatment plant in Iowa talk about the efficiencies and cost savings Infor solutions have brought:
- "Bringing the EAM system onboard dropped our inventory rates down from $1 million to $200,000. … It saved us $145,000 a year in electrical costs alone."
— Bill Miller, ASE-EAM systems administrator
- "Infor gave us a whole new level of efficiency. … Now [with replacement parts] we know what things are for. We know where they go. We know when they come back."
— Wesley Morrison, warehouse systems specialist
- "I like the fact that it is simple enough that I don't have to learn a new way of getting around inside of a computer program."
— Royce W. Hammitt, O&M manager
- "I find Infor to be powerful. And it makes this organization smarter."
— Stephen Moehlmann, training & safety consultant
