Deploying Infor applications in the cloud will help equipment companies modernize their technology, reduce IT infrastructure, speed deployment, and create a lower total cost of ownership.

Infor will leverage IBM Power Systems built on open standards to create a private cloud environment to run Infor applications with increased speed and agility.

The delivery of a cloud offering of Infor Equipment follows Infor's recent announcement of heavy investment in the industry, which includes a dedicated innovation center and the formation of the Infor CAT Dealer Advisory Council.
