The California city's Water Resources Division has implemented the latest version of the Infor Public Sector Suite to improve access to accurate, consolidated data for real-time visibility into water resources and maintenance processes.
The city also gets enhanced data analysis coupled with robust asset management.
"Before Public Sector Enterprise, we tracked everything on paper, which made it very labor intensive to extract and examine data," said Ivo Nkwenji, lead systems analyst and asset management coordinator, Santa Monica Water Resources Division. "Now all of our information is saved within the system and can only be entered in a particular preset format, which enables standardization and much easier reporting and analysis. We will ultimately save money through the ability to drill down into our data in a more advanced and effective way with our Infor solution."
