University of Colorado Hospital is partnering with other health groups to expand its network. It chose Infor Healthcare to streamline shared services.

University of Colorado Hospital is the Rocky Mountain region's leading academic medical center. It recently finalized a joint operating agreement with Poudre Valley Health System, and is finalizing a partnership with Memorial Health System, to create a system called University of Colorado Health that will widen healthcare services and provide unparalleled patient care across the Rocky Mountain region.

The organization has chosen Infor Healthcare to provide innovative technology to support this growth in order to streamline operations and create organization across the network.

"In the world of enterprise resource planning software, only one company was able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and our business, and that was Infor," said Steve Hess, chief information officer at the University of Colorado Health. "As we continue to expand our network, Infor's deep industry functionality and innovative tools will be critical as we look to meet new business needs and make decisions in real time."

Infor Lawson Healthcare, Financial, Supply Chain Management and Human Capital applications will serve as the foundation for this shared services organization and will enable University of Colorado Health to operate with minimal unexpected costs as it grows, contributing to the hospital system's overall efficiency.
