Nadia Quaddura portrait For women with responsibilities both inside and beyond the workplace, growth is a continuous journey. It is a daily decision to focus, prioritise, and trust that both work and family can be balanced without compromising each other.

Meet Nadia Quaddura Izquierdo, a Business Development Manager with seven years of experience at Infor. For her, work-life balance is not about perfection, but clarity.

“Having a little kid and working isn’t easy,” she says. “But I try to trust the process and know that my son is well while I’m at work to fully focus on my work. And then once I am home, I keep work out of my priority and trust that things can wait until the next morning.”

Her perspective reflects that in a sustainable career; boundaries create better performance. When flexibility and mutual trust are present in the workplace, professionals can show up fully both at work and at home.

For Nadia, flexibility at Infor is a lived practise, not a distant ideal. It is visible in leadership decisions and daily interactions. One meaningful experience she shares was how she received full support from Infor leaders during a difficult family situation which required her to work from abroad. Now as a mother, she continues to experience empathy when personal responsibilities require attention.

According to her, this kind of supportive work environment has allowed her to focus not only on managing responsibilities, but also professional development.

“Since the day I started, I have had support to gain knowledge, to grow in soft and hard skills, and to shape my career to where I want to go,” she explains.

Growth, in her experience, has been intentional. At Infor, she’s empowered to choose her own adventure, a reflection of the company’s commitment to support employees in shaping careers aligned with their strengths and ambitions.

For Nadia, that empowerment meant being given the freedom to explore areas beyond her initial scope. It also enabled her to explore new horizons as she was consistently challenged to step outside her comfort zone with the help of structured feedback and trust.

Overtime, her role expanded, and she eventually stepped into a supervisor role. In doing so, she gained more than experience. She has cultivated patience, strengthened her strategic thinking, learnt how to manage diverse personalities, and developed the ability to continuously adapt and grow.

More than this, she values having a space where her voice is heard.

“We have a very open environment at the office when it comes to sharing ideas, feedback, and thoughts,” she says. “I feel I am given room for creativity and to think out loud, and I make sure I take that chance.”

Visibility and confidence, she emphasises, are built intentionally. Her advice for professionals seeking career growth is practical and direct. She says, “communicate your thoughts early, document action items and expectations clearly, and nurture relationships with your stakeholders, and be reliable.”

To women starting their careers, her message is clear: be yourself, build your network, and do not hesitate to speak up, while still maintaining respect. It is about strengthening confidence through action, and not just in silence.

This International Women’s Day 2026, the theme “Give to Gain” became truly meaningful in Nadia’s journey. It served as a reminder that when women are given flexibility, room to grow, and the confidence to speak, they gain confidence, credibility, and clarity. In return, they do more than build careers, they build lasting impact.
