Infor Positioned as Leader in Nucleus Research ERP Value Matrix

For the second consecutive time, Infor recognized for its industry-specific CloudSuites
Nucleus Research has positioned Infor as a Leader in its ERP Technology Value Matrix 2021 for the second consecutive time. Infor was named a Leader based on “its industry-specific ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems offered through its CloudSuite platform.”
Nucleus Research is a global provider of technology research and advisory services focused on return on investment (ROI). In this report, its analysts noted that, “With flexibility in deployment options and best-of-breed ERP functionality, Infor presents an increasing challenge to [its larger competitors.] … “With [parent company] Koch’s investments delivering on partnerships and product development, we believe Infor stands to continue taking market share from other prominent full-suite enterprise application vendors, especially in the mid-market where ease of deployment and core functionalities are prioritized.”
“Our leadership position in this Nucleus Value Matrix reflects our unique approach to serving vertical industries,” said Andrew Kinder, Infor SVP of industry & solution strategy. “Rather than attempting to provide a one-size-fits-all platform for all industries, we focus on a few key industries and have developed four distinct CloudSuite hubs, which provide deep industry functionality in industries that have similar requirements.
“Our multi-tenant CloudSuites are designed to provide customers with sustained operational advantage,” he added. “They help accelerate deployment cycles, boost agility and resiliency, and enable continuous innovation, while reducing business complexity.”
According to the Nucleus Value Matrix report, “While Infor subscribes to an industry-centric development approach, its Agility 2.0 Deployment Framework has led to new preconfigured packages for micro-verticals. For example, Infor now provides these ‘industry accelerators’ to dairy companies within the food and beverage industry to streamline implementations.”
Nucleus also noted that Infor’s cloud solutions are delivered through the AWS public cloud infrastructure, which enables robust scalability and security. This has laid the foundation for strong business momentum globally. “[Infor’s] SaaS business maintains year-over-year growth, with CloudSuites now accounting for nearly a third of revenue,” the report stated.
